Terms and Conditions
Overview
This website is operated by Revaya, registered at 3 Windsor Arcade, Penarth, CF64 1JA. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Revaya.
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These Rental Terms & Conditions apply when you rent an item from Revaya, whether your booking is made in store, online, by telephone, through social media or by any other method.
By placing a rental booking with Revaya, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
“Revaya”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Revaya Limited. “You” and “customer” refer to the person making the booking and accepting these terms.
You must be aged 18 or over to enter into a rental agreement with Revaya.
1. YOUR RENTAL
Your booking is for the specific item(s) and rental dates shown on your booking confirmation.
Rental items remain the property of Revaya at all times. Renting an item does not give you any ownership rights over it.
Once your booking has been confirmed, the item will be reserved for you for the agreed rental period and may therefore be unavailable for other customers to rent.
You are responsible for checking that your booking details, including the item, size, rental dates, collection/delivery method and contact information, are correct.
2. PAYMENT
The rental price is payable when your booking is confirmed unless Revaya has expressly agreed otherwise.
Any additional services or optional extras, including Peace of Mind Damage Cover and delivery, will be charged separately and shown at the time of booking.
3. CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel your rental, please tell us as soon as possible.
More than 72 hours before your rental begins
If you cancel more than 72 hours before the start of your rental, the rental value will be issued as Revaya store credit.
Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued unless otherwise stated.
Change-of-mind cancellations do not ordinarily qualify for a monetary refund.
Within 72 hours of your rental
Where you cancel within 72 hours of your rental beginning, no store credit or refund will ordinarily be provided.
This is because your item has been specifically reserved for you and, at this stage, our opportunity to rent it to another customer is significantly reduced.
Any amount retained following a cancellation will be subject to applicable consumer law and will not exceed Revaya's reasonable loss arising from the cancellation. Where appropriate, we will take reasonable steps to reduce our loss.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Please see our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy for further information.
4. CHANGING YOUR RENTAL DATE
You may request to move your rental to another date, subject to item availability.
Requests made more than 72 hours before the rental begins may be moved to another available date or the value placed onto Revaya store credit where appropriate.
Requests made within 72 hours will be treated in accordance with our late-cancellation policy.
We cannot guarantee that the same item will be available for your new dates.
5. CHANGING YOUR DRESS
You may request to change your booked item, subject to availability.
If the change is made more than 72 hours before your rental:
- If the replacement item costs more, you must pay the difference.
- If the replacement item costs less, the difference will be issued as Revaya store credit.
If the change is requested within 72 hours:
- Any change is at Revaya's discretion and subject to availability.
- If the replacement item costs more, you must pay the difference.
- If the replacement item costs less, no credit will ordinarily be issued for the difference.
6. FIT & SIZING
We want you to feel amazing in your rental, but fit can vary between brands, styles and individuals.
Where you have tried an item on before booking and confirmed that you are happy with its fit, a subsequent change in how the item fits does not ordinarily entitle you to a refund.
Where possible, we will help you find an alternative item. Any change remains subject to availability and the change/cancellation rules above.
For bookings made without trying the item on, any measurements, sizing information or fit guidance provided by Revaya is intended to help you choose and does not guarantee a particular fit.
This does not affect your statutory rights where an item has been incorrectly described.
7. COLLECTION
If collecting from Revaya, your item will be available from our store on the agreed collection date.
You are responsible for collecting the item within the agreed collection arrangements/opening hours.
Failure to collect your item does not constitute cancellation and does not automatically entitle you to a refund or store credit.
8. DELIVERY
Delivery is available for selected rentals.
Our standard charges are:
Outbound delivery: £5
Return postage: £5
Outbound + return postage: £10
You must provide an accurate delivery address.
Where a tracked return service is provided or specified by Revaya, you must use that service and hand the parcel to the relevant carrier by the return deadline stated on your booking.
You will not be charged a late fee solely because of a carrier delay occurring after you have handed the parcel over on time using the required service.
Please retain your proof of postage/tracking receipt until Revaya confirms receipt.
9. RETURNING YOUR RENTAL
Your rental must be returned on the agreed return date stated on your booking.
For in-store returns, the item must be returned to Revaya by the agreed deadline.
For postal returns, the item must be handed to the approved carrier by the return deadline using the agreed tracked service.
The item must not be passed to another person, rented to anyone else or retained beyond the agreed rental period without Revaya's permission.
10. LATE RETURNS
Late returns can have a significant impact because another customer may have booked the item immediately after you.
A £15 late-return charge may apply where an item is not returned by the agreed deadline.
A further charge of £15 for each additional day may apply while the item remains overdue.
Where a late return directly causes Revaya to be unable to fulfil another confirmed rental, you may also be responsible for Revaya's reasonable direct loss arising from that missed rental, where permitted by law.
These charges are intended to reflect the loss and additional costs caused by late returns and are not intended as a penalty.
If an item remains unreturned for seven days and you have not made suitable arrangements with us, we may treat the item as lost/non-returned and take reasonable steps to recover the item and/or its replacement value.
11. CLEANING
Standard cleaning following normal wear is included in your rental price.
Please do not clean the item yourself.
Rental items must not be machine washed, hand washed, tumble dried, dry cleaned, steamed using unsuitable equipment, treated with stain-removal products or otherwise professionally cleaned without Revaya's prior permission.
If something happens to the item, return it to us and tell us what happened. Trying to remove a stain yourself can sometimes cause significantly more damage.
12. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ITEM
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the item from the point it is collected or delivered until it is returned to Revaya or handed to our approved return carrier.
We understand that accidents happen and ordinary wear is part of renting clothing.
However, where an item suffers damage beyond ordinary wear, additional specialist cleaning or repair may be required.
Without Peach of Mind Damage Cover, you may be responsible for the reasonable cost of specialist cleaning or repair caused by damage while the item was in your care.
You will never be charged simply for ordinary wear or standard cleaning already included within your rental price.
13. PEACE OF MIND DAMAGE COVER
Peace of Mind is Revaya's optional damage cover, available for £15 per rental.
It is designed to cover specified accidental, repairable damage occurring during normal use of your rental.
Peace of Mind may cover:
- accidental stains requiring additional specialist treatment;
- make-up or fake-tan staining;
- small repairable tears;
- accidentally broken straps;
- repairable zip damage;
- minor pulls and snags; and
- minor accidental damage to embellishments.
Peach of Mind does not cover:
- loss or theft;
- failure to return an item;
- damage beyond economical repair;
- deliberate or reckless damage;
- damage resulting from a failure to take reasonable care of the item;
- unauthorised alterations;
- cutting, hemming, sewing, gluing or otherwise modifying the item;
- burns caused by cigarettes, vapes, candles, irons, hair styling equipment or similar items;
- extensive ripping, cutting or severe damage;
- unauthorised washing, dry cleaning or stain treatment; or
- any other damage expressly excluded when Peace of Mind is purchased.
Peace of Mind does not transfer ownership of the item to you and does not remove your responsibility to take reasonable care of it.
Peace of Mind must be purchased before the rental item leaves Revaya or is dispatched to you. It cannot be added retrospectively after damage has occurred.
14. DAMAGE WITHOUT PEACE OF MIND
If you do not purchase Peace of Mind, you may be responsible for reasonable costs incurred by Revaya as a direct result of damage beyond ordinary wear.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- specialist cleaning;
- professional repairs;
- replacement components;
- reasonable restoration costs; or
- where the item cannot economically be repaired, an appropriate replacement-value charge.
We will assess damage reasonably and will not charge for ordinary wear and tear.
15. ITEMS DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR
If an item is damaged to the extent that it cannot reasonably or economically be restored for further rental, you may be responsible for its reasonable replacement value.
Any charge will take into account relevant circumstances, including the nature of the damage, the item's condition and its replacement cost, and will not exceed the item's stated retail/replacement value.
16. LOST, STOLEN OR UNRETURNED ITEMS
You must tell Revaya immediately if an item is lost or stolen.
Peace of Mind does not cover loss, theft or non-return.
Where an item is lost, stolen or not returned, you may be responsible for its reasonable replacement value, up to its stated retail/replacement value.
We reserve the right to take reasonable steps to recover Revaya property which has not been returned.
17. ALTERATIONS
Only alterations provided by us will be accepted and charged separately to the customer.
18. TRY-ON APPOINTMENTS
Revaya try-on appointments are currently free of charge.
A valid payment card may be required to secure your appointment.
If you cannot attend, you must cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours before your appointment.
If you:
- fail to attend; or
- cancel/reschedule within 72 hours,
a £20 late-cancellation/no-show fee may be charged to the card used to secure your appointment.
The fee and the circumstances in which it may be charged will be clearly disclosed when you book.
We may use reasonable discretion in exceptional circumstances.
19. IF REVAYA CANNOT PROVIDE YOUR RENTAL
Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may mean an item cannot be supplied for your booking. For example, a previous customer may return an item late or it may unexpectedly become damaged.
If this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on availability, we may offer:
- an alternative item of equivalent rental value;
- an appropriate alternative of a higher rental value without additional charge;
- Revaya store credit; or
- a full monetary refund for the affected rental.
You will not be required to accept store credit or an alternative item where Revaya is unable to provide the item you booked.
20. FAULTS
We inspect our rental items regularly. However, if you discover a significant fault when you receive or collect your item, please contact us as soon as possible and, where practical, before wearing it.
We will assess the issue and offer an appropriate remedy where required.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.
21. PERSONAL ITEMS
Please check pockets, garment bags and packaging before returning your rental.
Revaya cannot guarantee the recovery of personal belongings accidentally returned with rental items, although we will make reasonable efforts to reunite identifiable items with their owner.
22. LIABILITY
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to those rights, Revaya is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the rental agreement was entered into.
23. STORE CREDIT
Unless stated otherwise, Revaya store credit:
- is valid for 12 months from issue;
- can be used towards future Revaya rentals;
- has no cash value and cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash;
- may be subject to availability when used for a future rental; and
- cannot be resold or transferred without Revaya's permission.
This does not affect refunds or other remedies to which you are legally entitled.
24. OUR RIGHT TO REFUSE OR CANCEL A RENTAL
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a rental where reasonably necessary, including where we believe there is a significant risk of fraud, misuse, non-return or damage to Revaya property.
Where Revaya cancels a paid booking and the cancellation is not caused by a breach by the customer, an appropriate refund will be provided.
25. PRIVACY & PAYMENT INFORMATION
Personal information collected as part of your rental will be handled in accordance with Revaya's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Where payment details are held by an authorised payment provider in connection with a booking, appointment or agreed charge, they will be handled through that provider's secure payment systems.
Any additional charge must be made in accordance with these terms and applicable law.
26. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms applying to your rental will generally be those provided or made available to you when your booking is confirmed.
27. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
28. CONTACTING REVAYA
If you need to cancel, change or discuss your booking, please contact Revaya using the contact details provided on our website or booking confirmation.
The sooner you contact us, the more we can usually do to help.
